We understand that we are currently living in difficult times and that you may still be a little anxious.

We would like to reassure you that we are following Government guidelines and work closely with our venues to ensure we are meeting all requirements and guidance.

Our classes and workshops are limited in occupants and we only use venues that are large, well ventilated and have plenty of room.

Please read the following information carefully so that you know what you expect

All students attending a workshop/session are asked to confirm the following:

  1. I have not had a cough, fever or loss of taste in the last 14 days.

  2. Where tiers exist, I do not live in a tier higher than where the workshop is being held

  3.  I have not returned from abroad in the last 14 days. (This is not applicable if you are returning  from ‘travel corridor’ countries with whom we have no self isolation requirement – please visit  the Government website to check.)

  4. I have not been in contact with/do not live with anyone with Covid-19 or with similar symptoms.

  5.  I am happy to bring a face covering and wear it when moving around the room or when talking to a tutor about my work.

  6. I have read and accepted the measures on reducing the risk of transmission of Covid-19 as described here and in my course info email

In order to minimise the risk of transmission we will asking the following:

  • Please bring your own machines and sewing kits where possible to all sewing classes

  • You will need to bring a face covering for entering, exiting and moving around the hall

  • Please bring an extra layer of clothing as we will be ensuring that the room is well ventilated, even on cooler days.

  • We are happy to continue to offer refreshments but you are welcome to bring your own if you would prefer – we won’t be offended!

  • On entering the hall, please scan our Test and Trace code and sanitise your hands. Hand sanitiser is freely available throughout the studio. We also ask you to regularly sanitise your hands after contact with any communal items such as the irons, studio toilet facilities etc.

  • All students will have their own workspace where you are encouraged to remain as much as possible. You can of course use the ironing board but please be mindful of others when you do.

We sanitise all equipment, tables, chairs and communal areas after each use. For a copy of our risk assessment for each event please contact us.
