Please make sure you check that the workshop is suitable for your ability. We will email you with confirmation of your order and then again in the week before the workshop to remind you of the date and time. If you have any questions please contact us.

How can I find out about new workshops? The easiest way is to sign up to our newsletter, the link to which can be found on the bottom right hand side of every page on this website. We will send regular emails about our workshops, classes, last minute availabilities, special offers and events. You can also follow us on Facebook and/or instagram.

What if I need to cancel?Due to the nature of our workshops and the very limited places, we have a strict refund policy. We ask you to check your diary carefully before booking a class. If you cancel your booking more than 30 days before the workshop date you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your booking more than 14 days before the workshop date you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel with less than 14 days until the workshop date you will not receive a refund. If you find you are unable to attend one of our workshops, you may of course send someone in your place. Please let us know that person’s name before the workshop so we may welcome them to the class. As a courtesy, we will re-advertise your place in the shop and online. There is no guarantee it will sell, but if it does, we will issue you a refund or credit. You may use this towards booking another workshop. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop, we’ll attempt to give you as much warning as possible. We will happily refund your payment or transfer you to a workshop of the same price – your choice.

Are your workshops suitable for me?We run many workshops suitable for all sorts of levels, ages and abilities, most of our course and workshops are for anyone and everyone. Most of our classes are aimed at adults but we can welcome children aged 12yrs and over (anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also attending the workshop). We do also have some workshops designed specifically for children during school holidays. Please make sure you read the workshop description to check if it is suitable for you before booking.

Can I just turn up on the day?All of our workshops need to be booked and paid for in advance. We sometimes have last minute places available, if you join our mailing list we’ll send you details of any last minute spaces.

What do I need to bring with me? What do you provide? In most of our workshops all of the materials and tools are provided. If you are required to bring anything to the workshop you will be notified and it will be listed in the description. Ideally you should bring your own sewing machine and kit, if attending one of our sewing classes, this will allow you to become familiar and confident with your own machine. We can provide the use of machines however this must be agreed upon prior to the class.
-
Do you provide food during workshops?Refreshments are provided in each of our classes or workshops – tea or coffee and if your lucky a biscuit too. Where are the courses and where can I park?We have now opened our own shop in Tiptree. Although our shop has a parking space allocated at the back of the store we please ask that this is used as a drop off point for machines/ equiment/ materials and/or for those that need to be parked close to the shop for health reasons. There is ample community parking within 2 minutes walk of the shop. Further information on the venue location and where to park will be issued when your place is booked.
