Do you have a small person that loves being creative and making things?
We've designed experiences each day during our "craft week" for all ages to come and enjoy. Each session will be a great themed atmosphere designed to encourage learning and the freedom to be creative. The craft club is the perfect opportunity for your child to come and have fun, make friends and be really creative. Our craft club is ideally suitable for children aged 7 to 14 years (minimum age is 7 currently).
Each day is bookable seperately - sewing sessions are listed seperately. We have 2 taking place during the summer.
Timings: Our clubs will run between 10am and 3.30pm
Please note – Two adults with DBS will be in attendance for the club - These clubs are designed for children only and parents do not need to attend the day
What's included in the course: (we have set activities planned however time permitting, hope to create more wonderful themed crafts in the day)
Monday - "Summertime" fun and colourful themed day - our main activities will involve making jewellery, fruit and veg patch cupcakes, tiedye cushions, printed and embroidered bags (and pompoms) (allergies must be shared prior to this workshop and severe nut allergies should avoid this workshop)
Tuesday - "Ocean" underwater themed day - our main activities will involve making slime, jellyfish and turtle light up lanterns, mosaics, paint pouring, marbelling and string art
Wednesday - "Outback" Australia themed day - our main activities will involve mandala wooden animal bunting, koala suncatchers, needle felting and collage canvas'
Thursday - "playful" circus themed day - our main activities will involve weaving a lion, 3D wood, fabric and clay circus scenes and felt banners
Friday - "Tropical"rainforest themed day - our main activities will involve making and decorating colour changing chameleons, decorating money boxes, jesmonite accessories and making animal keyrings
Due to the interest in the craft week with have added an additional date of Wednesday 13th August to the calendar. During this "imagine" workshop they will be decorating and accessorising their own dolls house. We will be adding wallpaper, paint, soft furnishings etc to a provided dolls house. (We apologise for the price increase for this workshop - materials and supplies of this workshop have dictated the difference and we have tried to ensure we can provide the best options at and affordable rate)
What you will need to bring:
Packed lunch & water bottle – we will provide everything else!
Please note - although we provide aprons we recommend not wearing "best clothes for the workshops.
We also provide cake to enjoy during the day, if your child has any allergies we should be aware of, please let us know when booking your place.
