Our screen printing workshop is the ideal opportunity for those wanting to learn a simple yet very effective print technique. We will use the stencil technique to create crisp simple block and silhouette shapes to print on fabric and paper before printing your final design on a tea towel and apron.

Date: 5th October 2021

Time: 10.00am – 3.30pm

What's included in the course:

During the workshop you will be introduced to the process and equipment needed to create your own screen prints. You will be advised how to turn your ideas, taken from reference photos and sketches, into a stunning design, which will be used when cutting your paper stencils. We will explore how to create designs composed of different colours, how to mix colours and different blending colour combinations. There is a strong emphasis on being creative, explorative and having fun with the process before printing your own final design on paper and then fabric. After exploring different techniques and design ideas you will create your final stencil design which can be used to print on a tea towel and apron or tote bag blank
